As much as i hate to say it i have to be realistic that Toronto is the better team and yes they play in a east division that is very solid , if they played in either central or west division they would have won 100 games ... But anything can happen and we do have home field advantage ... Wave those hankies twin fans ...

Yes it was a meaningless game yesterday but it was another winnable game Rocco couldn't manage to win ... I would personally like to get rid of the Manfred man ghost runner permanently ... And when a manager brings in a position player and not a pitcher he should get the loss and a fine from mlb for tanking ... Well each league has a team with 307 homeruns now , it's a tie but think about it Atlanta did it without the juiced ball supposedly ...

A great Santana win ,,, Different plan and manager , the front office and Rocco halve to deviate from the normal season schedule of managing and playing games ... 2019 and 2020 playoffs they managed and played the same they did during the season , it just doesn't work and I was not impressed ... I would like to see more situational hitting to manufacture runs against good pitchers in the playoffs ... Baseball season is 162 games and i can understand the philosophy of maintaining the status quo , but in the playoffs , change is necessary ... Win or go home ...

Go with best performer's that have contributed since Allstar or when the season officially started ... Correa and hopefully Lewis too if healthy , Lewis bat at DH is needed if he can't play infield ... It's the front office and Rocco and medical staff contructing the lineup , can't make everyone happy I'm sure .... 1 game left today to determine playoff roster ... Yep , I should have said in addition to our bullpen of the usual relievers Jax, theilbar , Pagan ... We aren't looking to bad , they just have to want it and bring , paddack the first inning he pitched he was hungry bulldog happy to be on the mound .... It's time for all of them to give it their all with a different mentality in the playoffs ... Win and move on , lose and go home ...

I could name a few from the league but they are retired , One that comes to mind who has faired well with playoff experience is Dave Robertson , traded from Mets to marlins this year ... Chapman isn't what he used to be and no one else is coming to mind , last year's clase from Cleveland , this year's clase not so much ... Duran has done the job but has got you on the edge of your seat with his higher walk rate ... I'll stick with what we have and I too am getting encouraged by our bullpen mix of varland , maeda , Stewart , funderburk , maybe paddack ...

Good come from behind win ... Twins batters weren't very patient tonight , only 1 walk . They were making contact though only striking out 6 times . Contact was made, 13 hits ... Kepler has 4 hits and has really helped the cause in the second half , did anyone notice Polanco's swing seemed tight or stiff all night ... Bullpen held and Twins score late to make Keuchel the winner , twins pitchers strike out 17 A's , maybe the A's will break our strikeout record next year ... Let's get the sweep in today's matinee and then go pound on the rockies for 3 more wins ...
