    Ober keeps pitching towards pitcher of the month award ... Jax and Duran did there MOJO in today's game ... Nice win over Cleveland , let's swim and Cleveland sinks the rest of the way ... Injuries , they suck .... Ryan most likely out for the season , Stewart I never thought he would make it back , when he goes on IL list it's always months before he returns , fix this guys arm and have him ready for spring ... I hope Scott blewett doesn't blow it tonight ... Go Louie , do that voodoo you do so well .. Who's the 27th man , varland I'm sure took Ryan's spot ....

    Why do they steal bases in the minors ( hernandez with 29 steals ) , when they don't want to risk injuries and steal bases in the majors ( its a tool , use it ) ... Every club is stealing bases on the twins but it seems we do have some speedsters but don't use them enough to steal bases , it's alot easier to go from second to home than first to home ...

    Couldn't agree more about varland to the pen , with little depth in the starting pitcher department , Louie is starting 1 of the doubleheader games , so let's hope he has a great start ... But it weakens that bullpen we had for September and the playoffs last year ... Long reliefers Winder or Sands should have came in after Joe's injury today ...

    I was on the road and listening on the radio , both atterbury and gladden said winder will be coming in after Ryan departed with injury ... All of a sudden it's richards warming up and I was fricken pissed , a new guy we don't know much about and he's a 2 pitch pitcher , Rocco or whoever decision was the worst blunder of the year ... A 2 pitch pitcher with 7 innings to go , then Rocco leaves him in crossing his fingers that he could eat some innings , I understand eat innings but when a guy has no control , you can pull him after 3 batters .... I think gardenhire has put in his dues with the twins in Saint Paul and it's time to promote , we need a better major league manager ... Just when my excitement for the team soared after the 5 game winning streak . I never listen to Rocco pre or post game interviews , so I don't know what his reason was for bringing in a 2 pitch pitcher that early in the game ... Man that pisses me off , Worst blunder of the year , I'd like to hear what falvy has to say about his prize addition to the bullpen ... I feel better now ...

    I wish dobnak well , he has persevered the odds , but 1 more bad outing , ( dfa ) should put him back in AAA , nobody will claim him ... Sad but true ...

    As of now the article doesn't infuse alot of confidence in topa , fastball velocity down , slider and sinker not as good as 2023 ... When he's ready bring him up but not before , his pitches can get AAA hitters out but if his command isn't good , major league hitters are going to tattoo him all day long ... Let's hope it all gets worked out and we see the 2023 version topa had with the mariners ....

    Sad we lost it in the first inning , error and 3 run homer by cubbies deflated the twins hitters ... Lopez was all over the place and couldn't locate his pitches ... Lewis just keeps making baseball fun for him , the team and the fans ...

    It's been said before , anyone can win on any given day ... It's a 3 team race for the central division , I'm liking our chances to win it alot more than at the beginning of the season ... It's exciting to be in the race ... Go twins ...

    Great game ... 5 game winning streak so far , let's make it an exciting week and sweep the cubbies and Cleveland and be in first place for the week in review ... First place here we come , i love long winning streaks ... Love it when a plan comes together and the rookie gets the win , great job ( i wish i had it ) ...

    Varland is a good Minnesota story ... Varland must be stubborn though , he seems to like the bus rides in the minors and continues to want to be a starter , he was minor leagues pitcher of the year 2 years in a row , but not since his arrival to AAA . Varland has shown flashes of success but no consistency as a starter , his best consistency ( small sample size ) was in the pen in late 2023 ... Varland has been a hard worker as he improved every year except for this year as a starter in AAA , though he has had a handful of starts in AAA the past 6 weeks that has been good ... can he be a consistent starter or a more reliable bullpen arm , the team and Varland need to figure this out ( where his value is ) ... I haven't given up on varland as a starter , but I saw promise in the bullpen in 2023 ... I'm sure we will see varland as the 27th man as a starter ( his last spot start was good as a twin ) , and then varland to the pen the rest of the season , we can't wait for topa , he may take another 3 weeks to build up and then no guarantee on his consistency ...

    Buxton is really helping with the team effort by staying healthy and playing baseball in centerfield and once again hitting the ball like he once did , better consistency ... Amazing what good health can accomplish ... He looks like he is having fun once again ...

    A win is a win ... Double digit win too ... It wasn't the prettiest win but it sure was a nice win and a series sweep ... Momentum booster , incredible what royce keeps doing , I wonder if he drives a Rolls Royce or has a driver drive him around ( hes earning that prestige ) , if he could please stay healthy what a career he is going to have , he produces in the lineup and in the dugout ... He has yet to play a full season of games combined ( 103 in career ) but his projection from those total stats could be simply amazing if he stayed healthy for a full year , STAY HEALTHY ROYCE , PLEASE ...

    Team effort ... Nice to see Ober got the win with Kepler hitting his homer ... Bottom half of lineup got 7 of the eight hits and 5 rbi's ... I'm sure everyone enjoys beating up on the white Sox , 19 losses in a row , they're on pace for over 120 losses and another record will change , how can they be this bad , they don't look like they are giving up ...

    Yes santana has turned out to be a good clutch hitter and mvp worthy defense , not bad for an aging veteran that is playing like a youngster , I'd start thinking of an extension for santana , he's definitely strengthened first base ... 1 year with a 2nd year option ... Let's get the pen back to where it was at the end of last season , minus Stewart who is injured and may not pitch again this year , seems like he takes forever to heal after being out on the IL list ... SWR has pitched better than anyone' imagined , but can he maintain the endurance , he did finish strong last season in AAA , so that is encouraging , as far as the 5th starter goes it's going to be a team effort , I really want paddack if healthy and varland in the pen like last year ...

    I'm still not quite sure what kind of player is goibg to be about wallner , yes when he connects it is impressive the power he has , but the strikeouts give me concern , he has been better of late ... The regression of Julien and wallner this spring , but others were off to a slow start too ... Since we didn't make any addional players , I would like to advocate keirsey Jr and severino be given a look at solidify our lineup with consistency ... Nice to see dobnak make it back , let's hope his story continues , Festa has 4 starts , no opinion on him ... Kansas city addressed pitching needs last off season and the deadline and the off season additions helped them get to the deadline and then make additional pitching additions , there is not to many names on their pitching staff that was there last year ... As I stated, the Royals and fans have to feel pretty good about at least a wild card or maybe the divisional winner chance , their odds went up ... Pitching is what wins games and the royals certainlyhave improved their's , not saying we don't have good pitching , I like our top 3 starters , a good lefthander would have been a nice addition
