    For a 130 dollars a year I use for streaming sports company called uzzu TV app , you can watch any sport year round ( in season ) , no black outs , has worked for me , You can go month to month , cancel anytime with a yearly subscription , football , hockey , baseball and who cares about basketball ... College sports too ... Lots of channels to watch , any team you want plus has history and tbs channels and more ...

    Rumor has it seattle traded away players that did not put the ball in play enough , they struck out ... I don't think we have any major league players seattle would want because our boom or bust lineup set a new strikeout record in 2023 ... Sure I would like Gilbert or Kirby but it will definitely be an overpay to get one of them ... For reference , remember what seattle gave up to get Castillo from the Reds , Twins would have to do the same , and we are not going to deplete our prospects as a mid market team ...

    Cutting payroll and FO very stagnant on pitching additions , Falvey and Levine should have taken a vacation , oh wait , Pohlads cut payroll and FO had to forfeit the 2 week paid vacations ....

    It would be nice to have a present under the tree from the Twins ... But if there is no present , the best next thing is for our FO , dynamic duel to come out and set it straight with the fans what our payroll will be , what they might be working on ( wouldn't have to name team or players ) , say something solid to the fans that they are trying to add positions players or starting pitching or bullpen help to shore up the teams flaws ... Get in front of the camera falvey and help us with some encouraging words ... As of now I am not thrilled to be going to twinsfest , where's the excitement going to come from , Lewis yes , Julien and a few others ...

    Lewis loves the game , the fans ... Would he play for less money here in Minnesota to stay and play the game he loves , is money a motivator for Lewis , he comes from California which is a warmer climate , would he prefer a team on the west coast in warmer weather , better exposure to play for ( i don't know , but i think he wants to be a hall of fame type player , he seems to have that drive towards that goal in my opinion ) ... He has already shown alot of adversity with his injuries to perform at the highest level , has a great personality to be an embassador to the game , a great clubhouse and on field leader ... Great leaders should get the big money , Show him the money ... It doesn't hurt to try ...

    Have our standard dropped that much to rate the 2023 Twins season as one of the greatest ... Just because they broke the winless streak in the playoffs and won some playoff games ... Can't agree with this rating for 2023 ... Starting Pitching was outstanding , no question about that ... People were calling for dfa' s , fire Rocco and FO , everyone was saying in their posts on Twins daily that the Twins were unwatchable , this of course was the first 4 months , last couple were pretty good ... We won the central and made the post season , swept Toronto in the wildcard series at home , lost to Houston in 4 ... Sure glad we weren't voting for a president under these standards ...

    Nice to keep thinking ahead but trades will always change the course of the future projections ... Why no projection on the pitcher's , does a position player have more longevity than a pitcher ...

    5 years of managing , really 4 years , he didn't have to manage hard in 2019 when the players had career years ... So in 4 years of managing , it is presumed he and the FO should have learned something along the way , but I haven't noticed hardly any changes to his or the FO's direction of managing a team ... It's still boom or bust , I would like to also see something from the gut during games when it warrants it ... It would be nice to get the players to make more contact , strikeout less , what strikeouts annoy me are the ones that the batter takes for strike 3 , if it is close you swing , teach them that or fine a batter that leaves the bat on their shoulders ... They aren't doing there job if they don't make contact and strikes out , I'd rather they try and bunt with no one on base and give the other team an easy out ... Put the team in a position to win on a consistent bases day in and day out , very few long winning streaks , tomorrow's another day approach would feel better the next day if each game ended in a win ...

    Good thought on kiermaier , but let's try an unknown like Martin in the outfield , hit might be better than defense ( the word is he could handle left well and centerfield with alittlemore experience just as well , trade for outfield at deadline , it's not to expensive then if we need to fill a hole ... Getting a pitcher now is cheaper than getting a pitcher at the deadline , this in my opinion will be the only major addition the FO does to our roster , rest will come in house ... Why , because they did not add at deadline of last year and have done nothing as of yet and with the payroll reduction it's a trade for a cheap controllable quality pitcher , let's hope it quality ... There is also going to be the dumpster diving minor league contracts for depth ...

    Hey Greg and Twins fans ... This is the best article written since the end of the world series , I enjoyed the read and comments ... I'm getting tired of responding to all the speculations of who the twins should acquire in trades or free agency , it's out of our hands and all we should do is sit back and see If FO makes us a winner or they just tank ... Then we can either praise or shredd them ..... I liked this article ...

    Correct , I like the resign Taylor for money but most likely isn't going to happen as he will surely get a 2 plus year contract from some team ... keep our prospects and let them play , give them the chance to hit over the mendoza line ...

    Hey doc ... Since you touched on catching , did you hear Endy Rodriguez tore his acl or ucl and out for the season of 2024 , I know liked him as a catcher because before he made his debut you were always advocating for the twins to trade for him ... For those that need cheap streaming and can watch any game , any sport with no blackouts .... I use uzzu tv.app ... 130 bucks for the year and has worked fine for me at home west of the cities , but alittle iffy sometimes at the lake on weekends when all the vacationers are using the towers ...

    No question , everyone loves keplers defense ... His value has risen since last years off season , the Twins tried to trade him during last off season and didn't find a trade worth taking ... Now his 2nd half hitting has increased his value and he's still a twin , do we value Kepler more than other teams , of course we do , will other teams look at his 2nd half hitting and think he has found his secret to success and value him more than last off season , I don't know ... Someone mentioned that offense is the best defense , I personally would like both ... Can he duplicate his 2nd half of last season that definitely helped our offense , time will tell if he is still even on our roster and if he stays on the roster , i do hope for his defense and offense to help carry us towardstwins win ... I hope Bauer signs with someone else so Kepler can have 3 homer games ... Sit back and relax , our fo moves slowly ...

    A few years back Lugo was a spot starter for the Mets and had some success , I was interested in him a few years ago but at 34 he was out of our price range, 3 years , 45 million , he did well for a payday ... Kansas city needed to improve their starting pitching and he should help the royals out his first year for sure coming to another league has some advantages ... Maybe the royals won't finish in last place in 2024 ...

    I'm not sure what team I dislike more ... The dodgers or the Yankees ... It definitely used to be the Yankees , now I'm not so sure ... Players are entitled to all the money they can negotiate , the only team that really clearly bought and were successful in winning a world series was the marlins and then dismantled the following year ... Your never guaranteed to win a world series when you spend big money ...

    Hey , it's available to players needing an extra voice that might boost there career ,, Why does a player fail with one franchise and then succeeds with another franchise ... Because the other team may have seen a small tweak or correction the other team had not seen .. To much information can hurt a player trying to right the ship ,, It's the right information that counts to right the ship ... Driveline is a professional company to help athletes , you are going to have a difficult time just listening to voices , you need to ask questions and something just might pop... For example , Doctor is working a 16 hours shift at the hospital , he comes in and looks at chart , checks the patient vitals and frowns , because of the long day he's tired and brain isn't sharp patient or most like a family member ask a few Questions or two or three and a light bulb goes off and alerts the doctor of a possible method to help his patient get better ... Even a stupid question isn't a dumb question if you learned from it ...

    Finally an article that gives keirsey some respect .... Martin had a great AFL in 2022 , had he not injured himself early in 2023 , he most likely would have been on the 26 man roster at some point during the 2023 season and if he performed well we wouldn't be having this conversation , Martin if he has a good spring has a great chance at making the roster if Buxton isnt ready to go in centerfield ... Like others have mentioned , trade for pitching first , then fill a position with a right handed bat ... Will larnach be on the team , sure hope he went to driveline to work on identifying pitches and can learn to hit the offspeed stuff , it's his last chance to wear a twins uniform ....

    The twins need a spark in the lineup , if he hits like he did late in the season at AAA , there is no reason not to have his bat in the twins lineup at top of the order with Julien ( if neither is traded ) ... If he can play left field and centerfield his value will finally come to fruition ... The shoulder and Tommy John scare concerns me , let's hope rest and physical therapy has help mend his injury concerns ...

    The price of doing business just went up ... As usual the dodgers are saying they have more money then the other teams bidding for ohtani , and even the rest of the league ... Pagans 2 year million per season plus incentives looks like a steal now ... The players just found out that there is money in baseball and now don't need to see the teams profit and loss statements ... Prices just escalated for the remaining free agents , Yamamoto will now be looking for 300 plus million to sign , Soto will now take 500 plus million to extend his Yankees contract ... 70 million dollar average annual salary is insane ... Is this good for the league , some small market owners will now be selling their teams once they stop rolling there eyes ... Who's to blame , Manfred was hired as commissioner to run baseball operations , but really he was hired by the owners to work for them ... A contract like the elite players are getting today is only hurting the fans more in there pocket book ... Ticket prices , parking , beer , hotdogs and concessions , fan apparel , it's all going up , What family is going to afford to take their family to see a game , not an average family ... Baseball used to be a family get together , it is not any longer ... I may be able to go to games but the rest of my family will pass , I'm sure of it ...
