    I think Mike’s point is that there is a difference between ‘sharing likes and dislikes’ and being a broken record. Unless you happen to enjoy listening to broken records, of course. Mozart and Weird Al could make really good broken records. I haven’t seen either of them frequenting the board lately. This gives me the sad.

    They realized where the weaknesses were, and directly addressed them. I couldn’t realistically ask for more. I’d like to point out that the emergence of Miranda made a lot of this possible, It kept most of the 40-man intact.

    Last time I checked, medicine is not an exact science. I don’t know if/when AK will fully recover, and neither does anyone else. He’ll do his best, of that I have little doubt.

    Having waded through all this, of course the ‘why’ of this trade is getting an incredible return from a team Correa would accept a trade with. Who’s holding their breath for that?

    My gut hunch is that there will be one decent RP and one controllable catcher involved. For the reasons you brought up, probably the other bidding wars will go up too high.
