    Doesn’t all human behavior have a scad of unwritten rules? And if we eliminated them would society be better and/or function more smoothly? Sure, refine them as necessary but getting rid of them entirely does not seem plausible. As people go, so baseball goes.

    If I recall correctly, Nelson Cruz was also a free agent signing this season. Easy to forget, but worth remembering and acknowledging.

    Note that being vaccinated does not mean one cannot contract the disease (and possibly transmit it). It means one is (much) less likely to get seriously sick and die from it. It's the transmission possibility that's going to be the main concern for the vaccinated. And that's why keeping up the protocols is important even after receiving the shots right now.
