    Previously stated that this is the strongest lineup of pitching the Twins have had since the '60s. It is time to correct that: This is the deepest Twins pitching staff the club has ever had. Some of the hitters may be overperforming at the moment, but let's not look a gift horse in the mouth. Best April we've seen in a long time.

    Maeda pitched very well. Alcantra pitched even better. See ya again tomorrow for the rubber game. We should be watching each of Maeda's appearances as if it might be his last, and feel grateful for each fine outing he gives us.

    The extra inning runner devalues runs scored for a variety of run-related statistics when compared to runs scored in the first nine innings. How do we account for this when evaluating player performance?
