Great article, Parker. Especially the "Pizza Roll" face! I was at Yankee Stadium for #10. Our family was in the upper deck when Hicks gunned down Wells. We sat through an hour and 15 minute rain delay, and when play resumed the weather had pushed together a group of us Twins fans, congregated under the overhang. After the play, our little Twins section went absolutely ballistic! I'll have fond memories of high-fiving some old guy in a Blyleven throwback jersey. Great memory. Thanks for the reminder. Nice work.

Great job Parker. But I agree with Wookie on the worthiness of the Mauer behind the back thing. Think ya missed a nugget there.

The Mauer behind-the-back play was a very good one and was definitely under consideration (along with his full out diving catch of a pop foul at Target Field) but, ultimately, I felt like the leaping catch and tag was a better representation of his athletic abilities. I did not want this list to become Look How Amazing Joe Mauer Is. In the end, you could certainly swap that play (and the diving catch) with the #6 play.
