Jared Burton throws a punch in the bullpen

We know that Jared Burton throws a nasty splangeup, but now we have learned he can throw a mean right-cross too.

 

During the first game of Friday’s doubleheader, the bullpen decided to pull some shenanigans with the viewers. As Chris Colabello’s majestic home run sailed over the Twins relievers, Burton takes a “swing” at Brian Duensing, making look like he just cold-cocked him.

UPDATE: Following the game, the beat writers asked Burton about the move. Star Tribune's Phil Miller tweeted out that Duensing jumped up and yelled "C'mon punch me, punch me!" Miller writes that the move was ex-Twin Matt Maloney's idea.

I had a meeting, but when I came back from it, I watched the mlb.com gameday video... (which is the TV video)... Did Dick-n-Bert talk about this at all in the telecast? I had to watch it about 15 times, just that part, over and over. Made me laugh so hard! I tweeted it then, but that was like 4-5 innings later. Curious if it was part of the discussion.
