Arraez was traded to Philly for Marquez - who will likely be in the top 100 by the end of the year.  He has dominated A and high A as a 20 year old.   This is why I think we should trade Jeffers.  Jeffers has more value than Arraez,  and can guarantee a top 100 player or help for the team rather an end of the 1st draft pick which is a 50/50 proposition.

SF isn't shooting for the playoffs.  The Twins are.  You don't trade Jeffers unless you also trade for a replacement.

Jeffers is tough for me.  You can get a qualifying pick or you can get a top 100 prospect.  Lets be real this team isn't going anywhere.   They might slip into the playoffs and thats it and I would put that at less than 15%.  Their bullpen has overperformed in July, the bats are slowing down, and the starting pitching is getting wore out.  We have catching depth.  I would be fine with selling Jeffers and then buying a few more pieces.

Dodgers website states Alex Call , Burnsville native is in the mix for a Twins trade

Would be a good get.  Mashes lefties.

Mind. Boggling. Truly.

A right handed OF that mashes lefties is mind boggling?  Isn't that a big need in the Twins OF?

Platoon bats don't move the needle. Especially short side ones. He might play 25 percent of the games, so like 15-20. So, yes, to me? I don't like it at all.

Depends on the trade, but he is a much better fit than Roden, thats for sure.

The beauty of Call is he's under control for years, and a below average hitter overall, so he can block other guys for years ! He's also 31, so likely approaching decline years.
