When will Walker Jenkins make Twins debut

There are of course other factors that play into calling a guy up, but if the Twins were simply trying to field the best 13 man lineup, he would be in a Twins uniform.

Jackson would go (I understand why he's on the roster)
Gray would go (I don't understand why he's on the roster)
Martin would go

Buxton off the IL
Jenkins called up
Arcia called back up

As soon as Culpepper is healthy, he replaces Arcia

Tom Pohlad is starting to make noise again about trades and payroll and being competitive, likely to the chagrin of the front office. After all the talk, if the Twins whiff on trading for someone that would actually open the fans' eyes, the only way to try to save face will be to call up the prospects.

My biggest worry here is that Pohlad pushes a big trade just to get some fans excited again and then the payroll stays the same next year and the only thing that’s changed is our farm system has gotten worse and the future looks a little bleaker

I'll play. 

Providing that Walker Jenkins remains healthy and keeps playing well for St. Paul, I will guess he is called up to play on August 10.

I will be surprised, again presuming health, if WK is not called up sometime in August. I wouldn't object to seeing him sooner but doubt a call before August.

Personally I don't think Jenkins gets called up at all this year. With the impending lockout next year it is my understanding if he is on the roster to end the year he will get to play no baseball next year until it is settled
