Hope they (Rangers) have an adequate cafeteria and clubhouse.

I'm sorry we missed him. No, really sorry!

So if a guy is going to miss a game or two, you automatically put them on the IL? Sometimes players actually are day-to-day and the backdating for three days is a bit of a review period. If they go longer before putting someone on IL, maybe there should be some fingers pointed.

He's been hurting for over a week. This happened over and over for this team the last few years.

But he’s been playing. These are judgement calls and there would be an uproar if he was placed on the IL for a three or four day injury.

Are you specifically criticizing the Twins for the treatment of Buxton or is it more of a general complaint?

I think one thing that has come through is that Buxton always wants to play and his manager has to limit him and that Buck is  the MVP of the team when he’s on the field.

This is just roster mismanagement and they want us to believe they are a contender.  If you don't want to play Fedko, call up someone you will use.  We are basically playing with a one man bench tonight.

TC tradition to roster a guy they will not play and shorten their bench.

On the season the Twins have scored more runs than any other AL team (412) and have also allowed the most runs in the AL (442).

The name slightly rings a bell. An old friend?

He played 19 games at Triple-A for us towards the end of his career, and has taken Audra’s field side commentary job for a few road games this year.

Today was gross outside in Minnesota. Hot and more humid than a sauna

102 here.  Sub 10% humidity.  Pool refreshing.

Anybody else been to HOU ballpark?  I thought it was very....meh.

Agreed. Wasn’t worth the trip when I lived in Austin. Looks like they got the roof open to start and they’re dealing with the same heat we’re dealing with in MN. 90 feels like 101 according to my weather app.

70% humidity here. Wouldn’t surprise me if a severe thunderstorm popped up in the next day or 3 when it’s this muggy outside.

I think he did a series for TwinsTV out east--Washington? Recker had a brief major league career as a catcher. He was briefly a member of the Twins organization, but never played for the Twins.

We’ve been in a tornado watch for most of the day, but it hasn’t even rained… Just hot and sticky…

My son lives there. I have been to two games at Daikin. Not terribly impressed by the park.
