Chicago got nailed big-time by the storm front heading east. If it holds together by the time it gets to Detroit things could get ugly fast.

I do make sure to sit in areas that are not populated

An easy way to choose a section is to look at the available tickets on the Twins ticket page.  Tickets tend to sell from down to up in each different dollar category.  Pretty easy to see if all of section 102 above the first 10 rows have not been sold, for example.  And, if the Twins cared, it would be easy for their ushers to have this info as well.  Yet there are typically people scattered all over the unsold sections.

Batting cleanup...Orlando Arcia!

Are we even trying anymore? This is freaking ridiculous. I'm sorry, I try not be just reflexively hacked off about everything, but come on.

Why did they even start the game? Delayed as it was they should have waited.

Seems they have a two hour window and that'll be it tonight.

Herb Carneil on wcco radio again tonight , Alan Anderson is pitching  ...

So great to be able to listen to the sounds of the crowd, vendors etc in between pitches. Herb’s pauses were legendary. Something that today’s announcers could use more of…..I’m looking at you Attebery!

He described the game perfectly,  yes more announcers need more AAA seasoning ...

I posted about ten days ago that I thought a death spiral was near. I'm seeing the same thing now. The starting pitching is struggling and no other component of the Twins team is major league average. The sorting-out process for the bullpen is happening. Right now, I wonder how much longer the Twins will keep Taylor Rogers. He fools 'em once in a while, but he doesn't have major league stuff anymore. It seems to me that Banda will outlast him and stay a Twin at least until the trade deadline.

There also is at least one too many utility players that can play shortstop. It would appear to me that from the standpoint of the major league team, the time is right to promote Kaelen Culpepper. Tristan Gray isn't really a shortstop, Ryan Kreidler has never hit as a major leaguer and Orlando Arcia is a thirty something guy who not longer profiles as a shortstop. One should go to make room for Culpepper.

I fully expect the offense to struggle again today and whoever ends up on the bump to start for the Twins will have to have a good start or bulk appearance.

Agree on the Starting pitching starting to show cracks & the bullpen was always going to be an issue. I think the offense is in the top 10 in runs/game. Hard to call that below average.

Still this team needs to pitch better than they have recently or the losses will continue.

Mick Abel sitting 96-98 mph in the first inning of his rehab start in Toledo.

He’ll get ~50 pitches or 3 innings tonight.

Gave up a one out triple but worked his way out with a K then a one pitch groundout to Culpeper.
