This makes the decision to DFA SWR even more mind boggling and incredibly short-sighted.  Yes, he may have been the worst starting pitcher in baseball prior to being demoted to the bullpen.  You still need arms to get through the season.

Any time I see guys like Arcia getting ABs at 1B or Jason Tyners (to go way back) getting ABs at DH, it just makes me so frustrated. I mean I actually think Arcia is a pretty good hitter at this stage, but as a GM I would ALWAYS have a AAAA thumper or two ready to take those ABs. There’s probably a dozen guys we could have easily signed this offseason given the chance for playing time was so good here. But… go Twins

What a crappy inning. 1st pitch double play to Arcia, Larnach strikes out on 3 pitches. I know he was 1st round pick but Larnach should have been non-tendered like they did Eddie Rosario back in the day this off-season. Did Roden have surgery like ERod?

Shelton sucks, i'm convinced he's instincts are as bad as Rocco Baldelli. This is a terrible 100 loss  roster but he proved he was not a good manager in Pittsburgh. Twins took easy way out hiring him.
