Through May 9th, he was hitting .184 with .637 OPS and 3 HRs and 4 2Bs, through the 10th to the 17th he is hitting .523 with 2 HRs and 5 2Bs with an OPS of somewhere around 1.500! And he has more periods of famine. I am fine with riding with him when he is in feast mode. The problem is we keep running him out there in his many famine moments. Western SD Fan Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Bradley went 1 2/3 and 42 pitches giving up 1 run, 2 BB, 2 H, and 3K. I would suggest that he will need at least one or two more rehab starts to build his arm back up. IndyTwinsFan, Church of Kreidler, Danchat and 1 other 4

mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 This mid inning replacements with 2 outs -- to much pressure on the new kid , Banda might not be Sandy Koufax , but its his mess and the throwing error cost him also , not a fan of this

hitterscount Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 At some point it's the organization that keeps running Lewis out there. He has no clue what he's doing,.... you can tell as these are 3 pitch strikeouts, the pitchers absolutely know that they don't need to throw strikes. I'm done piling on him... it's managerial malpractice to keep playing him. Western SD Fan, Sjoski, IndyTwinsFan and 2 others 5

Very high likelihood that he'll swing at and miss each such pitch. He's become more unplayable than Wallner was. The pitcher knew he could throw that pitch so high that it would land in St Louis Park and Lewis would still swing at it. Maybe not perfect or ideal options, but options nonetheless. Most anything would be better than this.
Sjoski Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Lewis has swung at 15 of 16 pitches. Last three were way off the plate. Why throw a hittable pitch? It's like Lewis is begging to be sent down. Danchat, tarheeltwinsfan and IndyTwinsFan 3
