Provided Culpepper sticks, that will likely be his one spot to stay on the team and maybe develop a little more trade value as he can play multiple positions if the Twins do end up writing him off. Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 I’m not sure if there’s any other levers to pull to get Lewis out of this slump in MLB Danchat 1

Lewis might need the total system reset like Sano did and get sent down to Ft Myers. If/when he’s sent down to the minors, a week of good hitting isn’t solving this situation. Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Just checking in, looks like a busy game and busy thread guys. Anyone else check the forum before they checked the actual score? I do. And saw all I needed to about 23.
Danchat Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Clemens really is a feast or famine hitter. Through May 9th, he was hitting .184 with .637 OPS and 3 HRs and 4 2Bs, through the 10th to the 17th he is hitting .523 with 2 HRs and 5 2Bs with an OPS of somewhere around 1.500! Patzky 1
Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Hold the fort, got a couple hours of family fun scheduled today ☺️ . Maybe my absence will nab a victory!
S Bart Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 It is interesting to compare the TB trade between Bradley (He is starting today for St. Paul) and Jax from last year. My feeling is that it was a good one based on what has taken place this year. Western SD Fan 1

Before the injury, Bradley was definitely trending towards being a better than serviceable starter. On a separate note, the Rays are working on turning Jax back into a starter. He has made 4 starts this season and getting farther into the game each time with his last start going 5 innings. gil4 1

hitterscount Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 What do you know a little defense.... maybe Royce's glove will ignite the bat.

No, I'm watching the Twins on big screen and switching between Saints and Kernels on small screen. Yasser Mercedes with 3 run bomb. Winokur with 4 RBIs. Defense matters. Two great plays means a solo shot. Patzky 1

He pitched 5 scoreless innings on the 13th after a poor outing the previous time. I do believe that the conflict between him and Rocco made him happy to be traded. Western SD Fan 1
S Bart Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Jeffers deserves an all-star nod if he continues at this ....but he will not receive the votes due to being an unknown. It would have to be a manager's nod.
Church of Kreidler Verified Member Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Luke looking good at bat today - hopefully trending upwards!
