Bailey Ober is a weird plate appearance for hitters. He looks like he could fire the ball past you and then throws all types of off speed stuff that never seems to be in the middle of the zone when he is going strong. Hitters are off balance much of the time and struggle to get a good swing away versus Ober's offerings. A young team meets the wait for it pitcher. Lazy fly balls and pop ups follow, hopefully.

All  i know is that money  could of got a couple or more Bullpen options,   Pohlads think Cheap and Correas  money sure not helping  !!!! we need new Owners !!!

I believe it was Falvey that advocated for the signing of Correa both times, the Pohlads just signed off on it.   Whether they had to send money to complete the trade is unknown but I am not sure there was a huge market for Correa with that contract.

Washington is 4-13 at home. Wild.

🤞 let's take advantage of that!

Makes me curious what the ump is seeing - how was that last throw to Clemens a strike but the first to Caratini a ball? Like, it looks obvious to me because I have a handy box showing me the strike zone, but how could those not look totally different on the other side of the plate?

I think I've had some issue with this guys ball and strike zones before. Not 100 percent sure. Something to watch.

The pitch to Clemens was in the zone for a long time, but was clearly low. It is tough for the ump to judge where the ball was when it crosses the plate. The fastball to Caratini looked like it caught the zone, but may have appeared either inside or low from the ump's vantage point.

Can we start fast against a guy with an ERA over 8.0?

Apparently not…….

Wallner says we can!

Interesting, with the expectation of their new acquisition from Tampa going to join the team in Cleveland.  Maybe this is the last we will see of Garcia?

It will be probably be Klein that they send down.  We can't have enough 30 something relievers that are washed up.

Ober   ???   losing control

Two hits and a walk. Could have been worse. Looks like runs are scarce until the Bullpens.get.involved.

Abrams is a tough out. Could have been worse. Now it's time for the bats to wake up.
