You answered your previous question  , I was watching the Seattle  / Detroit  game and tuned into  Toronto / Yankees  and I don't like what I see ...

I looked at box score and saw varland gave up that homer , ouch ...

Too early to say it will be, but this would be quite the monumental collapse to lose a 2 game lead when you were up 6-1

I looked up how many times Yankees has been swept in a playoff or world series ... 

I found dodgers beat them 4 games to zero in 1963 and Cincinnati beart them 4 games to zero in 1976  , both in world series  ,

Still digging on any playoff sweeps.....

Unless my memory is faulty (very probable) teams used to rally from behind in these five game series more often.

I am going to go out on a limb and predict that 1 of the 4 teams facing elimination comes back to win their series.

I’d be ok if NY wins the pennant and loses the series. Can’t say they aren’t compelling TV as much as I hate them. I think the phils are done. They’re my two most hated teams. Brewers and yanks would be great tv.

Is it cool that there's playoff baseball on TV in the afternoon tomorrow or is it another reason why MLB is mismanaging the way they put their product on TV so it keeps getting harder and harder to watch? I hope no one here is employing a baseball fan in Seattle expecting productivity out of them tomorrow afternoon.

I didn't know he had a rubber arm , he's pitched alot lately and he went a inning plus last night and it wasn't good  , is toronto's manager watching replays of varland when Rocco managed him  ....
