I guess I give up on Lewis. I have been a huge fan of him since he broke into the game with the draft of 2017. He just doesn't have the body makeup needed to compete at the MLB level.

Suggest that the Twins ease out of the relationship over the winter and move on.

Bride is so bad.

Good chance he'll hang around at least until Keaschall returns.

When you need every out you can get from your starters to keep the bullpen going.  As I said with Joe Ryan yesterday, the kid has deserved a chance to go further.

I guess Rocco thought SWR was the opener and not the starter  ...

Quotes by Lewis from an article by Steve Schaeffer on the Twins website today.

“I’m tired of being the one that’s getting bullied and picked on by this game,”

“It feels like whether it wants me to suffer on the offensive side [in May] or, when I’m going hot, it wants to kick me out with an injury. It seems like it’s just picking on me at this moment,” Lewis said. “And so I’m just waiting for one of my friends to pick me up and stop this bully.”

This is not an adult that is taking responsibility for their life in baseball. This is a 7 year old.

I stopped seeing him a relevant a long time ago except as a cheer leader.

I still think he could pull it together and grow into a player that can use the potential he has sometimes shown but I don't put much thought in it.

I could probably pull-out quotes from other Twins' players from the past. One also has to put quotes in context. "How the hell can you play here". Quote from famous Cooperstown Twin Hall of Fame player being negative... I can come up with loads of negative quotes from players in the Twins Hall of fame. Let's hope Lewis can turn it around and not be a flash in the pan.

We won't have to worry about how Tito will handle the same situation in Cincinatti.  He let Tuesday's starter, Abbott, pitch a complete game en route to a 1-0 victory over the Guardians with 110 pitches thrown.
