Likely we will have to see another turn or two through the rotation with SWR.  Maybe we will have to consider an Adams or McCaughan call up to use as an opener for a bullpen game.

Damn.  Even Cory Provus is checking out of this game.

I like it when he gets fired up, but unfortunately, that means the twins aren’t playing very well.

We’ll be calling Scott Diamond soon

You can't keep trotting him out there. He and Festa are going to kill the pen.

Poor guy, I don’t know how you keep him on the roster at this point. If you can’t mop up then..

The other Alcala is back. Can we be done with him already?

SWR throws 93mph and Alcala 98.  Both get lit up.  It's not how fast you throw that matters it's how your ball moves and where it ends up in the strike zone.  These guys throw middle middle with predictable results

Excuse me, Alcala has sustained a 9.25 ERA now! Who was the last Twins reliever to get at least 24+ relief innings and had an ERA as high as that?

In the past 15 years, the closest example I could find was 2019 Trevor Hildenberger, who got to pitch 16.1 innings at an alarming 10.47 ERA. Good gracious.

Matt Belisle in 2018 had a similar 9.15 ERA in 23.2 innings. I remember how infuriating that was.

I’m going to guess Mike Trombley
