I understand they are out of options with him.  But at what point do you just have to give up and throw in the towel on him.  Alcala can't even get through a mop-up role at this point.

Haven't followed the Rangers too much this season - just presumed their pitching stunk and their line-up was really good. Totally reversed! There's still a lot of talent there though and they can get hot in a hurry. Hopefully SWR has a good one tonight.

I check Umpire Scorecard occasionally and according to their data, it’s real and pretty persistent. How much does it matter? A game or two perhaps, but playing better and regression to the mean will probably help them for the next 60% of the season.

Lineup is posted. Interestingly, if Lee were to replace Lewis, every hitter would have an average between.245 and .274, not a wide range at all. Texas is hitting.221 as a team, with an OPS of .639, slightly better than Vázquez and slightly worse than Lee.

If you see Brennan or Baker behind the plate, the Twins consistently don't get the call. If you see Bucknor behind the plate he won't see anything.
