What's wrong with Bader?

What is the issue with Bader?  

Have only seen this from Bobby Nightengale:

Harrison Bader is out of the game after grounding out in the third inning. He had an injury scare with a sliding catch in the first game of the doubleheader.

The idea is if there's the possibility of a play at the plate, you round first and give the 1st baseman the option to cut it for a sure out. Meanwhile the run scores.. Trade a run for an out 

 

Not sure where was gonna be a play at the plate this time, couldn't see from the coverage 

From what I saw it looked like Lee was probably going to be safe easily, but he ain't exactly Vince Coleman.  I understand the move
