Difference in this game….Twins twice had a runner on third and less than two outs, neither came in. Royals had two runners on third and less than two outs, both scored.

Gamecast win probability has Royals at 75% likely to win.

That sounds about right for 2 generic and evenly matched teams in the current situation, and 20% too low for the Royals leading the Twins.

 

Edit:  86% Royals win after the Twins' half of the 8th and that still seems low.

At this point, I think both Correa and the Twins would be ready to move on. They're not winning anything with him and he's wasting the last 2-3 prime years of his career on an awful baseball team. Wouldn't be surprised if he waives the no trade clause next winter.
