They're both young, but neither are good outside of their records. Between the two of them, they have three good offensive players under the age of 30, and one of them is a platoon left hander.

Twins fell behind early; they checked the scoreboard; and are now quickly going thru the motions. Honest, I know these guys are all pros but collectively they have really given up. Its embarrassing that they are losing to Miami; but worse how badly they are playing; and how they choked their way out of the post season.

Silver lining: even if they win (ha) tonite, it wont matter because both KC and Detroit are on their way to being the last 2 wild cards. Twins have no business being there anymore. 

(anyone notice O's are beating the Yanks 7-1 after 4! Now there might be a team with some pride. They were sucking on the exhaust but perhaps decided the Yanks weren't going to clinch the AL East on their watch. so far)

Must be tough, coming up with stories you want to write with hope, seeing is how ridiculous they become. Tough time to be a Twins fan. 2 games out of the best record in MLB before the start of play on August 18, Tragic.

Padres and Dodgers are fun to watch. Padres now only 2 games back. Last night the game ended on a freak triple play by the Padres up 4-2 with the Dodgers' 9 batter batting with the bases loaded and no outs and Otani, Betts, and Freeman coming up.......

You're just looking at the narrow picture of this season. I think it's uncontroversial to say both of those teams are better positioned, better core group of players, going forward. Detroit might be dangerous for 3+ years.
