This team is one of the streakiest offensive clubs I think I have ever seen.  They seem tp feed off each other so well when thing's are going well......and fall into the same pattern when the majority are struggling.  The highs are great and the lows well....suck.  The fancy thing about baseball is one nice 2-3 week fun high hot streak can mean a deep playoff run.

I was impressed last night as the success was shared by 4-5 guys through the line-up!

I gotta say though, sometimes the “feeding off each other …..” is just a handful of guys facing the same mediocre pitcher and knocking him around. Whatever, I’ll take it …….

Like I implied, Rocco should get credit for wins and losses.

Maybe last night he rallied the hitters and that is what caused the barrage at the plate.  Maybe it was leading off Julien followed by Wallner.  Maybe it was starting Farmer. Maybe it was (finally) giving Lewis a night off. Maybe he brought back the sausage.  Who knows? Let’s give him credit for a good, important win.

But let’s not pretend Rocco is infallible or not meriting criticism as well as praise at times.  And (rightly or wrongly) he very well might be managing for his job over the next three weeks. I wish him luck.

Maybe the PLAYERS played well & hit pitches they should hit? I don’t think Baldelli had much at all to do with the outcome - just like he didn’t lead them into a tailspin over last 3 weeks.

Could use another W today!

Alittle magic came our way tonight,  a double digit win ( seems like for ever  since the last one )  ...

The bats had bloops and blasts , wallners homer had to be farther than the estimate  , it was a blast ...

Also worth mentioning  ...

Keirsey Jr  played good defense and got his first career hit , Congratulations  ...

Juliens error caused by umpire blocking his view ,  kind of almost wrecked Pablo's night , 4 unearned runs almost wreaked the fans night too as angels closed the gap to within 2 runs , glad the twins were able to answer right back and score more runs ...

Eddie’s error was an error on Eddie…..the umpire had no effect. It was unusual for sure, the ball came up on him a bit (not mentioned by broadcasters) but his inability to get rid of the ball was the issue - he could have and should have made that play even with the umpire being in his line momentarily.

Assuming CC is back……Who does Team roster in October……Lee or Julien/Farmer for 2B?

Well, I agree and kind of disagree.  That loss at Texas was a big mojo killer and things haven’t really been the same since.  Hopefully, we are getting it back.

I agree that the Sunday loss in Texas started a time filled with a lack of confidence. Alcala came in with a 4-0 lead and after 9 pitches it was tied……he then gave up another HR for the loss. I don’t see that collapse falling on Baldelli either though….,,,,need more than just 1 win, for sure.

Buried in NM with other radioactive materials.  That's the WIPP SITE near Carlsbad and too close to me.

Medicore pitchers have to eat too.  Hope we go up against many more.  Had my fill of soft tossing LHP.

Time that fancy thing for the playoffs if at all possible. 😉

FARMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like Farmers finally found something at the plate. He should probably be out at 2nd every day over Julien. Lee needs a few days off. Glad Keirsey is getting reps in CF. Until Buxton is back, they should ride with him out there as he's probably our best defensive outfielder besides Buck. Glad he got his first hit. Hopefully Twins can put that nasty slump behind them and go on a good run to finish out the year. Hold on to that third wildcard spot!

It was an enjoyable game to watch yesterday. All of it.

Good to see Farmer jump on some pitches. He replaced Lewis in the lineup and did a nice impersonation of what we all want Lewis to be.

Farmer has been struggling real hard all year and I've been hard on him as a result. He probably wouldn't be on the roster right now if it was my decision.

With that said... I want to point out that he has an OPS of 1.032 the past 30 days. Leads the Team in OPS over the past 30 days. HIs time on the IL seemed to fix some things because he has returned from it looking like a major league player that can help a team win games.

I'm not suggesting that injury was the reason for his poor performance or his resurgence because I have no idea if he had any health issues causing him performance issues. Just saying... that he got better when he came of the IL and that is the only clue that I have and that clue means nothing.

Credit where credit is due. I have no problem with him getting some increased playing time while he is somewhat locked in. Including against Right Handers.

The past is the past. Go with anyone getting the job done.

Rocco'd again.  When will this guy figure out that we'd go 162-0 if we'd just average as many runs per game as there are daily, whiney ass, gripefest threads about Rocco on Twins Daily?

Nice win.

Pity some can't enjoy it.

I'm old enough to remember when TD frowned on thread jacking and attacks on other posters.
