He doesn't choose the roster. I blame teh FO for not playing Martin more in the OF in the minors, no chance he was going to be a SS. Zero. Zero.

We have no idea how nicked up anyone is right now....

He still has to put the team in the best position to win given the resources he has to work with...

Castro in CF, Martin at 2B and Lee at SS makes the most sense in the short-term  .How Rocco cant see that is a Fire able offense,, he never explains anything about his decisions or why players arent able to play, Santana batting against a r,h, is better than Royce batting, Cmon Rocco how stupid ? how can that be ??  and a rest day Tommorow  makes it even worse,  And why is it wrong to question him ?  might help if he was ever honest with the  fan base,  again WILLI IN C.F. and Lee at S.S. and Martin at 2b,  tell me how the way he wrote this  lineup is better ,  We all want to see Twins Win !!!!!!

It's very odd. Martin made plays at 2B on Monday night. Lee's been best at SS. Castro isn't Buxton in CF but he's better than Martin.

4th best record in the AL.....but whatever.

4th best farm system in the league....but whatever.  The FO sucks too.  I hate being in the top 5 in basically everything.  Did you see the White Sox won yesterday! Sweet!

Best position to win, when?

A random August Wednesday?

Going into today, Cleveland had played 112 games.

Jose Ramirez played in 109 of them. Naylor and Gimenez 104. Steven Kwan missed a month on the IL (25 games), has 84 games played. Same for other teams.

Good managers don't sit their best players needlessly.

That's exactly the point.

Every random Wednesday.

Also, the White Sox won last night in Oakland, 5-1.

Losing streak ends at 20. Poor Sox can't even break THAT record.

21!!

Fun fact -- Gavin Sheets got to endure this 21-game losing streat with the Sux.  He wanted to be just like daddy as his father, Larry, was an OF/DH on the '88 O's that lost their first 21 games.

Enough of the negativity!!! If you don’t like twins go cheer for another team!!!

I don't consider it negativity, but rather as frustration that many of us want the Twins to put themselves in the best position to win.

Trevor knew how many outs there were this time.  He was certainly helped by the fact the throw from the outfield got airmailed.

It will be interesting to see if that first year manager burns everyone out with his Chief-like zeal.

Orioles are a good example too.  High game totals for everyone that has been fortunately healthy.  All young kids with no injury issues helps.  Then again, they did it last year and then had nothing for the playoffs.

Twins are in position to win!!! Other teams wanted our best prospects and they said no. Just a matter of time before twins take over division!!!

Also, the unfortunate reality is that our best players are needing to be sat occasionally.  It sucks, but its a real thing.

Did he score? He got killed on Monday. Deservedly so. On Tuesday the fan faves weren't torched nearly as bad.

That's an opinion, not a real thing

Medical opinions are opinions too.  We have pretty extensive data on trying to push Buxton and Lewis and the results that come with it.

If they were pushing them and they got injured and missed the stretch run you'd be yelling at that.

Can't win.
