Kirilloff is just as good in the outfield as he is at First Base.

The Yankees came to get revenge for last  year, and the Twins act like they are still in Spring Training.

I repeat, wouldn't be a game thread without complaints about the lineup

Yeah, game threads are no place to talk about lineups.

It just seems like the Yankees never chase anything when they play the twins

We took the series last year; the Twins struck out Judge last year; this is a return of the Spring Training team.

Amazing that MLB calls that a hit and not an error

It has always frustrated me why outfielders are never charged with errors when they are obviously errors.

I thought the rule of thumb is that it if it hits the glove, its an error. Absolutely an error on AK - at least in theory.

In the first game of the series they ruled a double on Soto's flare to centerfield that Castro pulled up on and then misplayed when he transferred the ball from his glove to hand.  I thought that was the worst scoring decision I had seen in a while....until today.  The ball hit AK's glove right in the middle.  He didn't have to dive for it, not was he even fully sprinting at the time it hit his glove.  This is the major leagues FFS......

I think we can all agree, though that was the worst Yankees team in the 21st-century

So what, we beat them; t here have been 5 eighty some win Yankees teams in the 21st century and the other four make us look like fools.

57 outs without scoring a run. Quick, someone find another hacky gimmick to cling to

I went to the 2 games they won in Toronto

Fluke of all flukes. Didn’t we score like 9 runs in the first inning of the first game we played? You’ll never see it again

I’m just pointing out that when the Yankees are good, the twins never have a chance

Last year was an outlier. The Yankees have been beating up on the Twins for over 20 years.

The Yankees streak started with Gardenhire, time to end it.

I can't stand that when Santana "holds" a runner on, he's not actually holding the runner on. He's 3 or 4 feet off 1st. There's been I think 3 pickoffs that would have gotten the runner had he actually been on the bag. He has to reach 4 feet behind him as he plays it.

1st pitch should have thrown at his head.  Establish. Not your daddys TC

Yeah, that'll do it. 🙄
