Trying to figure out what that appeal could have been.  They said "leaving early" but there was not caught fly ball.  Maybe they thought he retreated past 1B and then didn't touch it on the advance.  

Edit to add: Maybe they were supposed to appeal at 2nd, but got their signals crossed.

Yeah, I was confused by that too. Not a good call by Provus to say the runner may have left early.
