Exactly. I think that's what made people fall in love with the first season. The Joel and Elly travel show essentially. (Although the Nick Offerman episode was fantastic)

I was binging it with a buddy and we kept saying, "It's a video game." If I were a die hard fan of the actual game I'm sure I'd be flipping tables

I'm a diehard for the first game.  But I was good with the story ending there and never touched the second one.  So far this season is confirming I made the right choice.

Things I've watched lately:

- Netflix
   - iZombie, Big Mouth, Santa Clarita Diet, The Trust, Rael: The Alien Prophet, Fool Me Once , The Greatest Night in Pop is awesome!

- Hulu
   - The Wonder Years (original), Letterkenny, Abbott Elementary,

-You Tube TV
   - shows in my library (Quantum Leap (current and previous), Law & Order SVU, Finding Your Roots, Little House on the Prairie, Celebrity Jeopardy, Catfish, Help! I'm in a Secret Relationship,

My daughter wants to watch any of the Gypsy Rose stuff. We've seen the movies, the interviews, everything.

I wasn't sure if this belonged here or a new thread, but I was curious. I don't have YouTube TV, but what YouTube channels do you regularly follow?

-Good Mythical Morning/More

-Claire Saffitz's baking channel

-Binging with Babish

-Team CoCo

-Jolly (two British dudes go around the UK and America trying new foods)

-Watcher (but I enjoyed Ryan and Shane more back in the ol' Buzzfeed days)

-Andrew, Steven, and Adam (ties in with the above channel. They went back to more of the "Is It Worth It?" vibe)

-The Try Channel (Irish people try anything from Finnish snacks to moonshine cocktails)

Not streaming yet… If you like movies with jump scares but overall a funny movie, go see “Weapons” in a theater. Truly one of the most bizarre movies I’ve seen, but a perfect blend of horror and comedy. I want to see it again whenever it lands on a streaming service

We've started Invasion. Quite good!

In a weird coincidence, each night a giant house spider has crawled across the floor just before the second episode we watched ended. Creepy.

Started Slow Horses this week, good stuff.

Re-started For All Mankind, seems naively positive at this point of reality.

Always have Leverage Redemption in queue when we need something light (though the topics can be realistic and heartbreaking).

In season three of Foundation, it looks great, has some great characters, but it seems a bit off?

Finished Invasion. So much good stuff. Some ok stuff, but I'd watch this.

(somehow all but Leverage are Apple+)

Go check out Vince Gillian's new show Plurb1s!  The man is the best TV-show creator we've got and this one delivers.

Definitely on my list. I'll probably wait before a few more episodes drop before I jump in. Seems like a dark comedy sci-fi. Such a different turn from Breaking Bad. Very curious.

Started Welcome to Derry. Starting off pretty good. Fun call backs and Easter eggs if you're a Stephen King fan.

I need to get on this show for Gary Oldman if nothing else.

Everyone loves this character, but you'd hate him in real life, so I find him harder to like than most.

Finished season two of Slow Horses. You should be watching this!

I think I got through three seasons, back when the third season came out. I'll have to get on what's come out since.

Hmm, that's interesting.  I'm one of those rare folks that thinks The Office sucks in part because Michael is such a wildly unlikable character.  (Who we are supposed to like I guess?)

So if that's the case I'll go in with an open mind and see how I feel, :)

I made it through most of one episode.

Ha, well I enjoyed it, but it was with diminishing interest. 'New season, new emergency' shows sometimes take me out of it, as I can't stop imagining the writer's room where they're all sitting around saying, "Well now we have to write something that is a bigger threat than last season!"

We're finally on Sandman season 2, it's ok. I think the show has some real highlights but is generally slow.

My wife and I are almost thinking about getting the free week of AMC+ to see Nautilus.

I didn't read much good about season 2.....we may or may not watch it someday.

Related: We listened to the audio book of the first 6 or so comics, and I'll never get the diner scene out of my brain.....

My kids are very excited about

I mean, I've been begging for DND shows.... But I found the first season of the first show so not my style, I didn't even watch season two. So, yes, this is aimed straight at me, and I might not watch one episode.

Yeah, my kids liked vox machina and I watched it with them but it was a bit raunchy for me. I guess I'm getting old.

I also showed my wife the Nautilus trailer so we might do the one free week AMC+. 20,000 leagues was the first "big" book I read as a child - a condensed children friendly version, of course. But it always makes me happy so I'm excited for this one.

Raunchy and the PCs were stupid (and they are supposedly like 5th level, by 5th level, you know basic tactics or you are dead). But, ya, mostly the humor just wasn't my style.

Poker Face cancelled. Probably too anti capitalism for the channel.... I've never seen it, but heard great things.

Actually it got cancelled because the star, Natasha Lyonne, created and is pushing an AI movie/TV studio. The behind the scenes workers are obviously pissed off about it cutting jobs and Lyonne appears to be on the brink of being blacklisted. But it sounds like the show is being shopped to other networks, but with Peter Dinklage staring instead of Lyonne. Not playing a different character, but a short, middle-aged man playing the same character. Not an Onion story if you can believe it.

I've also never seen it.
