Rolled into MLB.com to purchase my tickets for postseason. (If you have purchased this year, they sent out code).

Will have to pass. My standard seat up in 319 is $71. I will have to find some gin mill that has the game on and persuade my wife to a long, leisurely dinner 3 nights in a row where we both can enjoy a meal for that $71. Cheer them on for me, tix holders!

Note: It appeared that they have blocked off all the bleacher seats, driving people to buy the pricier tix before they open up bleachers.

How many of you were able to snag some presale tickets? Going to Game 2 hoping to witness a series win!

Edit: Just saw there is a topic already on this - Apologies!!

If it makes you feel better there's a solid chance at least one of those meals will actually be a lunch, and not a dinner. I'm betting the Twins get at least 1 day game in the Wild Card round.

We got tickets for Game 2 and we are about 4 hours out of Minneapolis. I think a night game would obviously bring the best atmosphere, but at the same time I wouldn't look forward to getting home at 3 in the morning (can only get one day off of work).

Night game would certainly be the best, but I'm guessing the TV folks are going to prefer the Twins are day games. Will be interesting to see if they give teams a day game after a night game or if they just do one series is night games and the other is day games.

Have fun at the game! Hopefully they play well enough to deserve your travel time, especially if you're not back til 3! That would be one long day.

Last year there was a little deviation with game times but they were all pretty consistent for games 1 and 2. I wouldn't mind a 3 or 4 CST start time - still close to primetime vibes but still get home somewhat on time 😂

Didn't think to look that up, just looked up this year's and saw there weren't times yet. I'd bet the Twins get that Tampa-Cleveland slot this year.

That what I thought initially but that would mean an 11 AM start local time, which I don't think they would do. I think its more likely to get the 1:00 local time slot.

Either way, an 11 AM start time wouldn't stop me from having a 10 AM beer or two. Can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning!!!

Out of curiosity, what do you usually pay for a seat in 319?

My hope is that we just dont get the earliest game. Give us something in the 2-3 range at least.

Best bet for that is Brewers winding up playing a WC team not named the Cubs.

I get veterans tix; 1/2 price M-Th.

I pay $14/16, depending on opponent.

Is a 10 AM beer really drinking all day?

I think not. That's Brunch. Beer for breakfast is drinking all day.

It really depends on whether or not the 10am beer is your first or your twelfth doesn't it?

I think the start time will depend on the opponent. For example, if we host Seattle I doubt we would get the earliest start time. If we host Toronto I expect we would. Games involving New York teams typically get the prime viewing time but since neither team qualified it's harder to project.

Yankee free October baseball is a good thing.  As a Met fan I never expected them to be there.
