IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 MAT just matched his season high for homers, right?
CRF Verified Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 CC and MAT need to switch spots in the order. RpR 1
IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Right now, I'd rather have MAT hitting higher in the order than CC. I think the reasoning is fairly clear.
GusGus11 Verified Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Winder warming. Need a 9 spot here
RpR Verified Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 I am puffing just watching the Rangers manager walk to the mound; that boy must really burn the calories the way he walks.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Right hander coming into the game. Wallner time.

RickOShea Verified Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Once you get a reputation (fact or perceived), you're not going to get the benefit of the doubt on borderline pitches. Umps figure you don't have a clue about the strike zone. RpR 1

RickOShea Verified Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 This is the game we need to steal in this series.
RpR Verified Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 AH, Lewis must now deal with the game not being tied because of his lead feet , hmmm.
CRF Verified Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 I think we need to keep this Lewis guy. IndyTwinsFan 1
GusGus11 Verified Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Royce is a star. I have a hunch we will need a hit or 2 with men on base to win this game though. IndyTwinsFan 1

Their strike out rates were down in AAA because of the ABS/challenge system in place. It wasn't due to the clearly superior pitching at the MLB level. Baseball needs to go to an ABS system next season. I never thought I would agree with that but it is clear that it is needed. IndyTwinsFan 1
jkcarew Verified Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 What's the record for solo home runs in a game? Let's break it.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 In a strange way, a game like this could hurt the Twins. Everyone will want to crank one out. Of course, that's true already. If they would just try and stay within themselves and their ability.
