RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 After striking out, why would a hitter give the pitcher any satisfaction, by shaking his head, cursing, throwing his bat, etc.?
RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 The check swing is just another can of worms. Don't go there Dick. Talk about your pencil collection.
IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 2nd straight game we were punched in the mouth early in the game and failed to respond in a positive manner, at home and against a supposedly inferior team. Doesn't say much of anything good or positive about this team.

Parfigliano Verified Member Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 Offense died with the base running blunder early in the game. Again.

Steven Trefz Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 How come we can't score when the stands are full of Twins fans at Target Field? We score when they are full of Brewers fans....
RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 Well it looks like we're keeping the odds of a sweep, alive.
Blyleven2011 Verified Member Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 I'm going to go the distance and watch the known outcome ... That's just what a diehard fan does ...
RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 Does these reliever keep his pot of gold in the bullpen, with himself?
Blyleven2011 Verified Member Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 Winder get sent back to AAA and new pitcher coming in tomorrow for bullpen game ... That's just a good guess ...

Blyleven2011 Verified Member Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 Has the twins beat a team this year that has started an opener ... I think we are 0 for 3 , but I could be mistaken and there could be more openers , I'm out of town alot and miss some games and series ... A very disappointing loss ...
OvertheHill Verified Member Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 So disheartening for fans to watch a supposedly inferior team come in here and boss the Twins around in every aspect of the game. I sure hope we salvage a split with these guys.
IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 I'm running out of adjectives to adequately describe these God-awful performances we've seen far too often this season. Any suggestions?

I think that it’s an indication of a truly mediocre team that could so recently have a “signature “ win like the Correa walk off game, then follow it up with almost complete no shows. At home no less.

Something like a grand total of 3 runs scored.
