Watching the Rays in this series feels like playing golf with someone who is reasonably in the same skill class as you but does what he needs to and shoots a low score with you are sitting with a 95. Kind of in awe and admire playing with them but then realize, I should be shooting what he shoots if I really put my mind to it. Maybe not a straight forward, but the Twins are a Professional team, with professional players, making millions of dollars, just like the Rays. I hate to admire teams that tear us apart only to realize that could/should be the Twins

Yup. TheRays are just good. They scout well, draft well, sell high, buy low and develop, develop, develop. They make things happen. The Twins buy high, sell low, and use Spring Training for egg toss games. They wait for things to bounce their way, and have endless excuses when they don't. Watching (well, listening) to these two teams these last few days has made the difference very clear.

Two games up in the central but would be fourteen games out in the east. Amazing how bad the central is.

A good part of the starting pitching is.  The bullpen is not.  The offense, well it's laughable. the defense  takes a lot of time off.

This should be a fun flight for the next series. This team should be better than this… wtf is missing? Seriously they are lifeless

Despite all these shenanigans, the Twins can still turn things around in the division.  The Twins are mediocre at best, the the rest of the Central is mediocre-er (sic).  A hot streak and we could blow this division open.  doesn't look like it is going to happen, but after the month of April, a lot of us thought we could dominate everyone else.

I have, and will continue to be, optimistic about this season. Maybe they can turn it around, or maybe they wont. Im not sure. But this series really felt like a bad team playing a good team. There were stretches where I felt we could've made some noise, but it always felt like the Rays know how to win, what to do, and did it. Go Twins. Play better tomorrow.

I think we need to kick the vets to the curb. At least the ones within reason. The young guys are always hungrier and usually more talented. Give them the jobs. Depth would be an issue, but calling players up from AA for depth doesn't seem like it could be much worse than watching the vets play anyway. If depth is needed later, I'd rather watch Lee or Keirsey or Isola or Severino struggle at the MLB level than what I've seen from most of the vet bats this year, 

Every good run this organization has had, has been when the top young guys all gel together over a year or so.

Going 50-49 to have a .500 season doesn't seem likely right now.  Gray, Kepler, Polanco, Taylor, Maeda, Solano and Gallo should all be on the block soon.

We did pluck Joe Ryan away, thank God.

But then again, *cough* Luke Raley *cough*.  Rays are very good at reclamation projects, too.
