Jerr Verified Member Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 Ok, I hope to see some life/hits/runs from the Twins today, but I'm not going to hold my breath for it.
CRF Verified Member Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 I'm hoping for the best...but I'm expecting the worst. Maybe we can somehow salvage one game down there. Glasnow was supposed to start for TB, but they pushed him back a day. That could help us.
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 They are wasting excellent pitching.
Jerr Verified Member Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 I'm starting to think CC's signing may become the worst ever by the Twins. I'm thinking the 2 teams that passed him back to the Twins, saw what the Twins didn't.
cHawk Community Moderator Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 Until Correa can start hitting the ball, he should not be batting cleanup. I would much rather see Royce Lewis in that spot.
cHawk Community Moderator Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 The rest of our lineup could learn a thing or two from Kirilloff.

Irishman Verified Member Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 Second base umpire surely helped TB. Polanco could have a double there!
CRF Verified Member Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 I really don't care for the constant lineup juggling, with guys hitting in different spots every day. Every game is a different lineup. I know...I'm old and old school, and it's all matchups and various analytics. Yeah, I'm nit picking today.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 Julien will be on his way to Toronto.

CRF Verified Member Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 Now, if Polanco did a hammy...or whatever his injury is...don't wait 5 days to IL him, and get Julien on the next flight.

Polanco hit a rocket up the middle, ticked the pitcher's glove, nailed the second base umpire on the upper arm and landed a foot or so from the second base bag. The Rays ended up getting a force out and Polanco appeared to reinjure his leg running the ball out.

I believe it's an aggravation of his previous injury. I doubt they hesitate putting him on the IL.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 It’s literally the same game over and over again.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2023 Author Posted June 8, 2023 Polanco left with a tight hammy.

I'll bet a whole bunch of Julien's will be headed to Toronto. Should be a fun time for the family. I mean assuming there isn't an indoor hockey game they feel is more important

stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 All they needed to do was move CC down..........to cleanup.
wavedog Verified Member Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 Fun watching Ober pitch - Correa got us on the board!
