Technically, I don't think that's a "dropped popup." I don't believe Miranda was able to get a glove on it. And to be fair, he had to cover at least 15 feet in no more than 8 or 9 seconds.

He made it look more error-ish by getting there in plenty of time but then having some sort of Outlander historical time travel moment where he was suddenly dodging falling lava at Pompeii
