Really unfortunate that the refs’ shenanigans in the Seattle game will prevent Detroit from making the playoffs. They deserve it after this performance tonight.

Can seattle knock off SF and give us a home game if we win? Hmmm

Division rival games can go either way. Especially game #3 they’ve played this year. Geno Smith did not look good this week but I’d still give him the edge over Mr. Irrelevant.

Lions are going to be a big problem going forward. Unfortunately

I have faith a few months off will magically  transform them back into the Lions.

Well, I predicted 15-2 this year based on our easy schedule so ... 10-7, earliest prediction!

Denver or Vegas or both say hello to Team Parfigliano

@ Philly is the new @ seattle. Seems like almost every year we go there at this point. Closest game to my area but I wouldn’t dare go to that cesspool atmosphere

PFT (via ESPN) reports that with McVey possibly stepping away the Rams aren't blocking any coaches from taking lateral jobs.

Should Raheem Morris not get a head coaching job, luring him to Minnesota as DC sounds like a solid decision. I mean, assuming he's not the only person in the world who doesn't get along with Kevin O'Connell.

McVay will probably do exactly what Payton just did. Take a cushy TV job to escape a messy situation. Then have his pick of the litter in 2024. The Rams will take years to clean up.

But they won it. Worth it.

No doubt. I’d take a few rough years after winning a Super Bowl all day long. It wouldn’t be so messy for them if Matt Stafford remained healthy. Now he’s very expensive and broken down. Aaron Donald could retire any year and their OL is decimated.

They should deal Donald. He's worth it. I mean, they should deal everyone, but they won't.

I wonder what kind of package he'd return... though he's not in his prime any longer and had a down year, plus he hinted at retirement after the Super Bowl. It'd also cost the Rams more on the cap to move him, but if they're getting a haul then I could see it... but he seems like a guy who is going to retire with the Rams. Then again, Watt did move on with the Cardinals for a couple years before he rode into the sunset, so who knows?

Gotta eat that salary at some point. The rams have plenty of players they could deal and start over. Pretty quickly I'd think. But they won't, few NFL teams really blow it up

He's going to take a lot of crap for leaving too, since he's the one who most benefitted from selling the future for the Super Bowl. It was worth it, but McVay gets to walk away and let other people wallow in the mess left behind while he gets a fat broadcasting paycheck and then eventually getting to pick the cushiest landing spot when he's ready to return.

Pretty sure if the Vikings were to win a Super Bowl, the head coach would get a lifetime appointment. Ungrateful rams
