"Starting to get loose"?  One would think that the manager that hates starters to get to the 3rd time in the order would have a reliever up in the 7th and ready just in case this exact situation comes around.  I'd give Gray one more baserunner.

I give Gray at least the next batter. 3 hits total so far. You can't say the pitchers don't want to go longer. It is not them that pulls them.

Good job, Thielbar. He has come a long way since the 10 ERA in April. One more clean inning, and he will be under 4!

Gray might have done the same - after all he had 10 Ks - but this will work just fine.

If the Twins were to come back and win their division, they may end up drawing Seattle in the Wild Card round. Think about that. Battle of two teams who haven’t won a playoff game in 15+ years
