Only gave up Gipson-Long? Wow... What a deal

Fulmer's just a rental for the rest of the season.   But, who we're giving up isn't going to be a front-line starter, so may as well deploy him usefully in trade.

Huge "thumbs up" for this deal!!

Will be interesting to see if game is close tonight if Rocco decides to use him.

I hope so as its doubtful either Jax or Duran is used as they both pitched last night.

Fulmer pitched last night too and threw more pitches than either Jax or Duran.

Fulmer may want to stay for a few years if given a decent contract offer.

Maybe.  A lot of variables there.  I can't see that as factoring very much into the analysis of the trade.

Visited my son in Michigan a couple of times this spring.  Detroit is becoming underrated.  I'm sure there are still areas to avoid, but then that's true of many cities.  Detroit and Cleveland both, I've enjoyed in the recent past.

The walk by the river is very nice.  There are historical panels along the way about the Underground Railway, which was a thing in that area since Canada is so near.  Aside from that, lots of restaurants and thriving foot traffic.  We were in the area mostly because of Ann Arbor but got to a Tigers game and went out to dinner there one other night.  Sorry, I'm not being a very good Chamber of Commerce shill after all. :)
