Chris Sale threw a slider to Emilio Bonifacio in yesterday's game that broke down and in so hard it ended up hitting Bonifacio in the inside of his right knee, right on the fat part. I think Bonifacio ended up scoring in that inning, Jays won.

Agreed. I love watching the Twins beat the Whitesox more than any other team. It may be because I have a friend that is a die hard Whitesox fan, and I love rubbing a Twins win in his face... or maybe I'm just a horrible friend.

Not that I think they should have cancelled, because I don't ... but sitting in either stadium in Chicago this time of year with any kind of wind is colder than sitting in Minnesota this time of year. The wind off the lake goes to the bone. It's f-ing cold ... snow or no snow.

To top it off I closed a car door on my finger when I got home. Thankfully the copious amounts of liquor dulled the pain.

FOX game = no Hawk, right? Of course that could just mean an afternoon of Mitch Williams.

 

No sure what to hope for.

Who leads the Twins in home runs after this series? Does Arcia have more hits than Hicks when the series is over? Do the Twins get at least one win and stay ahead of the Sox in the standings? Do the Twins get two wins and leave Chicago with a winning record?

 

Here are my predictions--Parmelee goes deep twice and takes the team lead in HRs or at least a share. Arcia gets three hits in two games and Hicks only gets one, so Arcia will have four and Hicks three. The Twins split the series and leave Chicago with a 7-8 record. Bonus prediction: Vanimal will be much better, but get a loss today.
