I was at Berrios last start against the Phillies (last Wednesday), and he didn't look good at all.

Landon Leach signed minor league contract with the Braves. Was considered a hot prospect once.

Outfielder Rob Refsnyder could be added to the list.  (currently with the Red Sox)

Enough so that the drafting strategy that year affected multiple rounds, if I recall correctly.

It looks like Ben Rortvedt will start the season on the IL. Tough start to a new organization. But if it had to happen anywhere, with the Yankees is a good outcome...

MICHAEL PINEDA was sent to the minors by The Tigers!

Marwin Gonzalez made the Opening Day roster for the Yankees and Drew Butera retired.

JOHN CURTISS signs with the New York Mets. They will add him to the 40-man, then put him on the 60-day IL for the season.

 

To make room for him, they designated frormer Twin TRAVIS BLANKENHORN off their roster. See if someone claims him (he had a 2021 where he appeared on four major league rosters and four Triple AAA rosters.

Besides TAYLOR ROGERS and BRENT ROOKER now being Padres, former minor league pitcher Chris Mazza is back with the Rays. And HANSEL ROBLES has been added to the Boston Red Sox roster.

The DFA saga of Ralph Garza Jr. continues. He was DFAed by the Red Sox after being claimed when the Twins DFAed him, and now claimed by the Rays. 

Brandon Waddell (remember him?) was outrighted by the Cardinals.

Several ex-Twins started the season the the Injured List included Andrelton Simmons, Ben Rortvedt, LaMonte Wade Jr., Ehire Adrianza and Lance Lynn, Brent Rooker is not listed on San Diego's active roster, so he must have been optioned to AAA.

A (bitter)sweet moment yesterday. Taylor Rogers got to exchange lineup cards with his twin, Tyler. Then he went out to save the game for the Padres over the Tyler's loss for the Giants.
