So what happens if we win? We'd be 3-1, which is about 3 more wins than I'm sure anybody expected at this point. And what if we keep winning? What then? Do we still make all those moves at the deadline if we're above .500 at the break (somehow)?

Well, we'd probably move up to 25th in the power rankings next week.

Oh he has no trouble locating his fastball, they were all right there in the middle of the plate.
He seems to be able to locate the sweet spot with remarkable consistency as well.

That's probably the most negative thing you've ever typed.

 

On TD perhaps. I just hate the premise that more is better and the fact that those kids seem spoiled rotten beyond redemption.

Burt was flabbergasted the Sherwalters weren't bunting after the leadoff single. A single that came on an 0-2 count, I might add.

Looks like show-and-tell day in the gifted-and-talented classroom to me, with a gifted-and-talented-and-understated moderator who knows when to shut up and let the kids say some darned things.

Yeah, don't care if Burton went last two days, put him out there. Jzeeeeeezus

Given the Twins didn't even want to use Burton in back-to-back games last year, I doubt he was available today. I don't think you can blame Gardy for Fien's inability to execute a pitch with 2 strikes.
