That looked like it really hurt Astudillo.  I hope nothing got broken.

I'm disappointed. That would have been ball four. Turtle hasn't walked since 2019.

Moreover, Dick said this pitcher has not walked a batter yet this year.

Smalley was the one who said it, and he was wrong. He hadn't walked anyone this month.

Hit hard! Deep! With Dick a ball 20 feet short of the track is deep when a Twin hits it but is a lazy fly ball when an opponent hits it.

Not seeing a lot of (any) masks in the crowd. Lots of people pretending to be vaccinated? Or has Minnesota decided to pretend they have achieved herd immunity.

It looks like Maeda will be lucky to get through five today. Thanks to Berríos' seven innings yesterday, they should have plenty of rested arms, but 12 outs from the bullpen is probably a lot to ask.

Maybe herd immunity at Target Field? Anyone willing to pay money to see this team right now is probably motivated to get the jab.

If this is going to be a turnaround, then maybe the bullpen needs to make a statement today.

I rarely say this, but I think that the home plate ump is doing an excellent job calling balls and strikes.
