I ask again...I know Rocco doesn't make anyone take BP. Do they take infield before every game?

Because the infield play is too sloppy to explain.

 

Asking healthy 20/30 somethings to stand on their feet and occasionally move side to side for 10 to 15 minutes is far too much physical exertion.  Gotta save the energy for the game.

You are missing the pattern.

 

We either give up a run or an error in an inning, but not both.

 

Can't let Shoemaker get complacent.

So ... the game is 46% over (if the A's don't bat in the ninth, which, yawn, it appears they won't)! Very high schooly.

So we can’t win with the new extra inning rule, we can’t win in seven inning games. Maybe it’s us

Tortuga messing up a groundball is not surprising, Sano failing to pick up a baseball and at least getting one out is inexcusable. Ugh.

That's a yes, provided the manager allows them to pitch more than five innings. On this team it's a moot point. Considering the state of the bullpen we're more likely to get a win if the ace starts a 7 inning game. Less exposure of the bullpen.

I can see why Minnesota wouldn't find success at Oakland. The fans actually hammer players. They're into the game. Cheering on their team. With less fans in the crowd, you can actually be heard. I bet Shoemaker is hearing things that would make his mother cringe.

Shoemaker looks pretty bad out there, I can't blame him.

Man, either we are super slow to the plate or the A's have zero respect to Garver. I'm not sure Garver has has a chance to throw any of the SB attempts out yet
