It was a must-win game yesterday if Twins want to win the division. I believe by the end of the short season Dobnak's ERA is going to be over 5.

It should be noted that Dane Dunning is more highly regarded than our best pitching prospects (Duran and Balazovic). So no slouch.

 

Falvey should be so astute as to sell off an average OF in Engel to the Nats and land Giolito, Dunning, and Renaldo Lopez in return. Eddie Rosario, anyone?

Sign Cruz, trade Rosario and Cave, let Gonzalez, Adrianza and Odorizzi walk. If Hill wants to coach, sign him to be a pitching assistant. Take Kepler off leadoff spot, put Buxton in and also give Wade a chance at that spot as well. Twins may need to sign a lefty slugger to bat 4th. Kepler can bat 6th. I really believe Twins need to aggressively promote young players. Twins need fresh blood.

If you do all that and do nothing about pitching, which you don’t mention at all, it will be more of the same.

I think the lefty slugger batting 4th should be Kirilloff or Larnach
