Oh, good lord.

I rarely complain about umpiring but this season has been painful to watch. That was a mile off the plate and the ump had called that same pitch a ball multiple times that inning.

At least 10 umpires opted out because of Covid. Anybody know the actual number? Could have something to do with it. STILL DON'T WANT ROBOT UMPS. EVER.

Nice job by Clippard to get this one to the late innings. Would love the offense to just burry this one as the late inning arms are fairly worn down. If the score holds I expect some combination of Littell, May, and Duffey

I'm still glad Gordan didn't stop short of 2nd on Rosario's throw, and stay in a rundown long enough for the other runner to score.

 

(i am right to think he had a baserunner ahead of him, right? Beem napping...

Forget the double. I think the most encouraging sign from Sano is that he actually made contact with the ball and put it in play.

This is when we can safely turn it over to our bullpen, right.

 

Not that i would complain if we score a few more runs, mind you...

Today is my Grandmothers birthday, she died in the year 2000 at the age of 103, which means she lived in 3 different centuries. Not too many people accomplish that.
