Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Another good scoring chance wasted. First and second, nobody out, can’t afford to— ah who am I foolin
Brian450 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Meanwhile, the Yankees have hit two solo home runs to tie us up at 301 apiece... They're up against Palumbo on a hot night in Texas, so it may not be the end of it...
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 I wonder who is the largest leadoff hitter in Twins history?
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 I dare Dozier to swing at the first pitch.
insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 He's pitching...and KC hits the first pitch for a single. While its good to see Cron playing, he basically is only hitting ground balls now. And not to be too critical, but he was just jogging to first...and that has nothing to do with his thumb.
Brian450 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Ryan LaMarre doing his best Delmon Young impersonation out there...
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 I'm just putting this up here because ... it just cracks me up ... favorite bit of footage from clinch night:
insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Rosario misplays a routine fly ball and KC has a cheap run so far.Anyone surprised that NY already has 2 HR's? They may get 6 before the night is over. This inning should have been over...one hit allowed and no runs. Tough break for Berrios. Rosario owes him one.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 I got LaMarre on the misplay...Yeah ... I was leaning that way, too
Brian450 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Sano takes care of the home run lead ;-)...

Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present the 2020 American League Most Valuable Player: from the Minnesota Twins, Miguel Sano.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 A little late with that kapow, but I was up celebrating last night and pretty sluggish in the dugout today
insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Sano puts us 1 HR up on the Yanks again.

insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 The guys in the booth are blaming Rosario for the misplay. What I saw was him chasing the ball, then pulling up, and then it dropped. Didn't see where LaMarre was in the play. Was it his ball?

insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 This has been kinda sloppy tonite. But more important, they need to get 5 innings in. Berrios is sort of 'off' tonite. Not horrible, but also not sharp. Nice recovery though to get out of the inning.

big dog Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Lets finish five innings fast please.
insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 2 weak AB's so far by the Turtle. But there....a solid single for Cron!
Blake Verified Member Posted September 28, 2019 Author Posted September 28, 2019 LaMarre, extends the Bomba lead. As expected.
