At least one is vital, I would think. It's going to be tough against Giolito but I think this loss tonight magnifies the importance of this series. This kind of series is dangerous in a pennant chase.

Damn, that game was very winnable.  Some bad luck, some missed opportunities, and some mistakes.  Just felt like one of those games where we got beat by a few inches here and there.

I don't know the statistics but it just feels to me like Target Field has been a really tough place for the Twins to play since it opened in 2010. Maybe I just got spoiled with how well we played in the Dome many of those years.

This is very true. But I seem to remember even in the 90s when we had some really bad teams, I always looked forward to when we would have a homestand. I don't remember audibly groaning when the Twins came back to the Dome like I have done very often since 2010. That doesn't mean I want the Dome back but I vividly remember even Morneau not liking the dimensions of Target Field, (right field high wall). I get the sense that the Dome was something that helped this team, whereas to be quite honest, there have not been very many magical moments at Target Field in my memory. In summary, I don't really like the place.
