Tried Summit’s Ratskeller Smoked Porter tonight.

 

It tastes like grilled bacon that fell onto the charcoal then got marinated in bath water.

 

There’s no way the poor score tonight and the poor beer I drank are a coincidence.

I think I saw yesterday was the anniversary of the biggest comeback in MLB, maybe we can top that tonight

Yep, remember it like it was yesterday, 8/5/01 mariners and Indians [remember the date because we won a teener league championship that day lol]. Also remember it because the twins were barely hanging on to hope at that point in 2nd place in the central and I knew it was kinda over at that point

Actually just looked it up, and twins were ahead by a game and a half over the Indians on that day. Then they lost to royals and the Indians had their comeback to cut the lead to 0.5. It was the last day they’d have sole possession of first place

If they were smart they would walk him no matter what. Even pull a Barry Bonds and walk him if the bases are loaded.

Well that run hurt! Hopefully the Twins will come out firing tomorrow and win this series.

New plan. Four runs the next two innings, instead of three. Allows a cushion, as well.

 

LOL, I'm talking about an insurance run, when trailing 12-6. This team.
