Twins hitters are trying to hit the most homers in a season. Winning is also important. Hit the homers when it matters or just get a hit.

We lose 12-7, and Twins hitting homers is the problem.

I'd really like to see De Aza get a chance with the Twins soon. Has MLB experience and would probably produce more than Cave.

When you are down by 11 runs, it would be better to string hits together to get a few big innings for a chance to fight back.

When you are down by 11 runs in the sixth you lose 99.9% of the time no matter what your offensive plan is.

 

Is this really a hill to die on? The offense's strategy did not lose this game. Why not celebrate that this team does not quit? They fought back, and you are quibbling about how they went about it.
