Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Yes, it sounds completely insane. Why would Cleveland "drop" their all-star closer because two of their starting pitchers are gettin Cleveland is on the fence about selling.
PseudoSABR Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Normally I'd cringe at having Adrianza here. These days, things are just strange.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Oh my god if that ended the game I would have jumped off my roof
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 I actually liked Littell. Many do. I don't think he 's any different than Kohl Stewart or any of the other AAAA guys we keep throwing against the wall. Marginally effective for short periods of time, when everything is going their way. Not someone who can be expected to perform at an above average level in the big leagues over any length of time. I expect Stashak to be exactly same.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Which time zone?Yes. The one the umps are calling.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Seriously they shouldn’t even have gotten one out thefe
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Gordon or Rooker coming up?
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 He’s been better than most of the others I believe this statement is the epitome of damning with faint praise.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Again, wild pitcher, swinging at first pitch. I don't get it.

MNT1996 Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 We really can't afford any more injuries. Goddamnit
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 wonder if Sano realizes if he swings his chance of putting the ball in play go up significantly I think you are trolling now.... Especially in a 2 homer game.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Stay in ehire. Gonna let you walk home
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Ehire goin deep here He did almost run to the RF foul pole.
TribeAZ13 Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Cleveland is on the fence about selling. heard our GM today and he basically confirmed nobody is moving unless someone offers a ransom for Bauer or Hand...and to trade bauer would be absurd..the guy has top 5 stuff in baseball and has for years...we cant win this without him..hes helped our young studs so much which the media fails to see
Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 You never know how the inning goes but that damn 0-2 wild pitch.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Littel has seen a bump in velocity, along with effectiveness, since the move to the bullpen, no?Yeah, Littell not only has a much better minor league track record but has also seen his fastball reach 97 MPH in the pen and had a stretch of 11 scoreless innings before giving up those 2 HRs to the A's. He's got far more potential than Stewart, at least in my eyes.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Littel has seen a bump in velocity, along with effectiveness, since the move to the bullpen, no?4.91 ERA. 1.42 WHIP. 94-95 on a good night, occasional 95-96. Mediocre breaking stuff, decent command. He's just a guy. He'll get some outs. He's not even MLB average.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 This umpire wants this to end so bad
