Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 2 pitches, 2 outs. that's what we need right now
twinsbaby Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 2 pitches, 2 outs. That's very disappointed offense so far.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Get some runs and then a different pitcher. Duffey I suppose. Closest thing to a long man the Twins have right now.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 sano takes a 3-1 hittable pitch with 2 outs and nobody on and swings and misses on the next pitch
twinsbaby Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Taking 5 pitches, then swinging a pitch in the dirt. Good job by Sano if we want to lose game.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Has anyone seen the movie Million Dollar Arm? And if so did you like it?
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 I would guess Sano was all but ordered to take two strikes.
jz7233 Provisional Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 2 pitches, 2 outs. That's very disappointed offense so far. Add the first inning at bat from Polanco and Cruz, that would be 5 pitches and 4 outs.
jz7233 Provisional Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 sano takes a 3-1 hittable pitch with 2 outs and nobody on and swings and misses on the next pitchThat's his problem. He's been too walk-happy and when he has to swing to stay alive, he always picks the worst pitch to hit. That one was as slow as you can imagine and in the dirt.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 I’ve seen several posts saying Baldelli seems to pull pitchers sooner rather than waiting until too late. No way does he start this inning for me.
jz7233 Provisional Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 leadoff walk to the 8 hitterThat hitter sent his pitch out of the park earlier though.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Mets are getting WAY too many good swings. Perez needs to come out.
twinsbaby Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Garver needs to catch this foul ball to help Perez.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 cmon mr negative, it was at least for 3 minutesThat's silly. I didn't think for 3 whole minutes...

jz7233 Provisional Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Vargas does serve a lot of meatballs. It's really up to Twins hitters to consume.
Tomj14 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Mets are getting WAY too many good swings. Perez needs to come out.watching the game on gamecast, it looks like Perez is pitching pretty well and 70 pitches for 16 outs isn't bad.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Perez has immediately coughed up every lead he’s had. Not sure why he continues to be given the ball.
